Bastien Réau is a self-taught photographer since 2017. He has been mainly working both in France and Ireland. Specialised in black and white photography, he loves to photograph the streets, the fleeting moments and the emotions which lie in every situation. Since 2019, he has also been passionately photographing and documenting the Irish nightlife (mainly in Dublin), creating simple images focused on raw emotions.

Some of his work have been published on specialised magazines such as District Magazine, Four Four Magazine or Quarantune. In late 2020, some of his pictures were displayed in the Science Gallery (Dublin), for a project which brings space and environmental education to children in Irish speaking schools.

In 2021 he decided to focus his work on film photography, developing and printing his own photos. He is currently working on upcoming exhibitions.
